Curious about the exact amount of time between two dates?
Similar to a calculator, the graphical interface allows you to select a calendar date or use the keyboard to enter a specific number of years, months, and days for a calculation.
The five modes of interacting with the calendar are:
(1) Difference between two particular dates. Example: Two people met on 6/12/2010. Today is 1/1/2012. How long have they known each other?
(2) When is a certain number of years, months, and days after a particular date. Example: Mary started a new job on 1/1/2012. On what date will she have worked at that job for 100 calendar days?
(3) What is the total amount of time and actual date that corresponds to a certain amount of time after a particular date compared to an earlier date. Example: John was born on 2/17/1980. How old is John 100 days from 1/1/2012 and what is that date.
(4) When is a certain number of years, months, and days before a particular date. Example: Mary has been working at her company for 100 days. When did she start the job?
(5) Display the day of the week corresponding to a given calendar date.
